If you're looking to build or upgrade a powerful gaming PC without spending more than $1,500, there's one standout deal you shouldn't miss. Walmart currently has the iBuypower Element Pro gaming PC, featuring an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card, for just $1,499 with free shipping. This was the top high-end gaming PC deal during Prime Day – beating any offer I saw on Amazon – and it remains the best value I've found at this price. The Radeon RX 9070 XT is a formidable GPU capable of running any modern game in 4K, offering better value than comparable Nvidia Blackwell options.

This iBuypower PC is impressively well-configured. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X CPU, a Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB M.2 SSD. The Ryzen 9 7900X processor boosts up to 5.6GHz with 12 cores and 24 threads, making it an excellent choice for both gaming and multitasking, ensuring you won't need an upgrade for years. The system is kept cool by a robust 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler and is powered by an 850W power supply.
We awarded the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT a perfect 10/10 score. Despite costing about $150 less than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, the 9070 XT outperforms it in several of our game tests, with some benchmarks showing a significant lead. Its performance is on par with the older $1,000 RX 7900 XTX, but it delivers superior ray tracing and upscaling capabilities. While it has slightly less VRAM (16GB vs. 24GB), this isn't a practical limitation for gaming. When we say it's "4K ready," we mean this PC can run virtually any game at 4K resolution with frame rates at 60fps or higher. Any less powerful graphics card would force you to compromise on settings to achieve playable performance.
AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Review by Jacqueline Thomas
"PC gaming has felt increasingly costly since 2020, but the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT proves it doesn't have to be. This graphics card effortlessly handles any game at 4K, even with ray tracing turned on, and does so at a price that makes the competition seem overpriced. While only time will tell if this launch price is sustained, one thing is clear: the market needs more graphics cards like the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT."
