Developer Sway State Games has unveiled Into a Hearth Yonder, a charming new creature-collecting, MMO-lite adventure for PC with a vibrant, cozy art style. The game is scheduled for release next year.
In Into a Hearth Yonder, players can adventure solo or with friends across the world of Viteria, accompanied by loyal automata companions. These helpful creatures enhance various activities, granting buffs for combat, farming, fishing, mining, and crafting. "We wanted to make player stats and skills tangible as cute, Tamagotchi-like automata," explained Chris O'Kelly, studio head at Sway State. "The joy comes from collecting and caring for them. In return, they help you explore Viteria more deeply, streamline your tasks, and empower you to fully embrace your preferred playstyle."

"Our goal was to create a cozy, inviting world for adventure—a place to explore at your own rhythm, filled with building, crafting, exploration, and magic," O'Kelly added. "It has elements of 'survival' but with less pressure. Think of it as a relaxing escape from the hustle."
The development team behind Into a Hearth Yonder includes veterans from projects like Divinity: Original Sin, Dying Light 2, Harold Halibut, and Horizon: Call of the Mountain. You can wishlist Into a Hearth Yonder on Steam now.
