Genshin Impact Version 6.0: Unveiling Nasha Town and Nod-Krai
Recent leaks from Genshin Impact's beta servers suggest the locations of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, slated for their debut in Version 6.0. With Natlan's storyline nearing completion, development has shifted focus to Snezhnaya, the Cryo Nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's immense size, exceeding even Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, hinting at a phased release across multiple updates.
Early leaks indicated Nod-Krai as a separate region in Version 6.0. However, recent datamining confirms its placement as an autonomous province within Snezhnaya, acting as a crucial trade hub connecting the nation to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's insights place Nod-Krai in Snezhnaya's southernmost reaches, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.
Leakflow, Extra, and footage from The_Strifemaster (from the Version 5.4 beta) reveal a placeholder landmass beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass appears to connect to Mont Esus, a rumored Fontaine expansion. While not confirming Mont Esus's release timeline, this discovery strongly points towards the placement of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai.
Nod-Krai: A Lawless Province
Nod-Krai is both a region and a city situated on Snezhnaya's southern border. Despite some semblance of order maintained by the Voynich Guild, it's known for its lawless nature. A significant Fatui stronghold, led by the popular Harbinger Dottore, operates within Nod-Krai. Nasha Town, a key settlement in the province, is home to individuals rumored to possess power predating Teyvat's seven Elements.
Dividing Snezhnaya into multiple releases, while potentially controversial, is a pragmatic decision. The sheer scale of Snezhnaya necessitates this approach for both narrative coherence and manageable development. Following Natlan's Archon Quest conclusion in Version 5.3, subsequent updates will gradually introduce Snezhnaya. While Capitano's fate remains uncertain, Skirk, a character connected to Khaenri'ah's Five Sinners, is set to become playable in Natlan. Barring unforeseen delays, Version 6.0 is anticipated to launch on September 10, 2025.
