Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising glitch to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy utilizes the Hydro Traveler, a character often deemed a weak DPS option, to devastating effect.
The exploit's mechanics are surprisingly straightforward. By strategically placing a large number of Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) near a boss, and then activating the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst, players can drastically reduce the boss's health. This amplified damage stems from the interaction between the Burst's AoE effect and the lanterns. Deploying a hundred lanterns, for instance, can result in damage reaching millions.
While this exploit is undoubtedly a temporary advantage, it currently provides a remarkably easy path to victory in boss battles. Expect this to be patched in a future update.
