Freedom Wars Remastered allows you to bring three comrades and an Accessory into Operations. While comrade gear is passively leveled, your Accessory offers unique customization options and commands. This guide details Accessory customization and suggests optimal order sets.
Navigate to the Loadout menu. Below your character, select the Accessory option. This opens a loadout menu similar to your own. Equip your Accessory with any weapon and Modules you possess (Accessories don't consume ammo for gun weapons). You can also equip a single combat item for your Accessory to use strategically. Remember, your Accessory can only equip one weapon and one combat item. The key difference from comrades is the ability to issue unique commands.
The Loadout menu lets you select an Order Set. Individual orders within a set are customized by interacting with your Accessory in your cell. Select "Customize Accessory" (fifth option from the top) to create and modify order sets. Purchase "Right To Assign Orders Entitlements" (Window of Liberty Interface Entitlements > Accessory section) to expand the number of orders per set. Note: Order sets are selected before Operations and cannot be changed during them. Orders are issued during Operations using the up directional pad or C on PC.

While Accessories can deal damage with upgraded weapons, focusing on support roles through these orders proves more effective. Equip your Accessory with a powerful gun to maximize their contribution from a distance.
