This success comes despite mixed initial reviews. The game's performance significantly outpaces the 2018 mobile port of ARK: Survival Evolved, boasting a 100% increase in downloads. This strong launch follows the successful 2022 Nintendo Switch port of ARK: Survival Evolved, also developed by Grove Street Games.

Despite the mixed reception, its popularity continues to grow, currently ranking 24th among adventure games on iOS and 9th among top-grossing adventure games on Android.
Future plans for ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition include the addition of new maps, such as Ragnarok, Extinction, Genesis Part 1, and Genesis Part 2, expanding the dinosaur-filled world for players. The game will also be released on the Epic Games Store in 2025, offering players more platform choices.
