Fortnite's Surprise Paradigm Skin Return: Players Get to Keep the Legendary Outfit!
A surprising event unfolded in the Fortnite universe on August 6th. The highly sought-after Paradigm skin, a Chapter 1 Season X exclusive unavailable for five years, unexpectedly reappeared in the in-game item shop.
Initially, Epic Games attributed the skin's return to a technical glitch and announced plans to remove it and provide refunds. However, a swift change of heart followed a significant player outcry.
Epic Games reversed course, tweeting that players who purchased the Paradigm skin during its accidental return could keep it. They acknowledged the error, stating, "Bought Paradigm tonight? You can keep her. Her accidental return to the Shop is on us... so if you purchased The Paradigm during this evening's rotation, you can keep this Outfit and we'll refund your V-Bucks soon-ish."
To preserve the original exclusivity for those who originally obtained the skin, Fortnite committed to creating a unique, new variant exclusively for them.
