Greetings, fellow gamers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for August 26th, 2024! This edition is a bit lighter than usual – no reviews today due to other commitments. Let's clear up the confusion surrounding Fragrant Story, a late-stage Nintendo 3DS title. Initially released as a seemingly impressive tactical RPG, players were shocked by its incredibly short playtime (around 20 minutes). The truth? A tight deadline forced the release of an unfinished version. Subsequent updates transformed it into a much more substantial experience, exceeding ten hours of gameplay. This version includes all updates, making it a solid eight-dollar purchase for fans of the genre.
A straightforward platformer, but a fun one nonetheless. With 40 levels and evolving mechanics, it offers decent replayability for its price.
An idle game where you work in a dungeon to pay off debts. It might not be visually stunning, but it's a welcome change of pace.
