Fields of Mistria will roll out its third major update on July 21, 2025, following its Early Access debut last year. This update brings a fresh dating mechanic, expanded heart and skill limits, new events, quests, and quality-of-life upgrades. The developers shared a roadmap via social media, highlighting key additions in this release.
This update delivers exciting features for fans, especially those eager for deeper villager interactions. Players can now build stronger connections with NPCs, even after maxing out heart levels. The update introduces eight heart events, offering richer insights into villagers’ stories and personalities.
The highly anticipated dating mechanic allows players to take their favorite villagers on dates, a first for the game. While romantic interactions were previously limited to conversations, this update opens the door to proper date scenarios.
For those seeking deeper friendships without romance, a new Best Friend path offers a meaningful alternative to strengthen bonds with villagers.
Players will find more opportunities to engage with Mistria’s community through additional Request Board tasks and Town Repair Quests, advancing the town’s restoration. New collectible sets at the Museum come with unique rewards, and the Renown Level cap will increase, unlocking further incentives for players who’ve reached level 90.
The update makes restoring Mistria smoother with a higher skill cap and new perks, enhancing activities like farming, fishing, and foraging. To accommodate growing collections, larger chests and an auto-deposit feature allow players to efficiently manage items with a single click.
Beyond these additions, expect new monsters, Sunday Market Vendors, cosmetics, a festival, and a greenhouse for gardening enthusiasts.
