Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC Specs Demand High-End Hardware for 4K
Square Enix has released updated PC specifications for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, highlighting the need for powerful hardware, especially for 4K resolution. Two weeks ahead of the PC launch, the updated requirements emphasize the need for high-end graphics cards with substantial VRAM.
The game, launching nearly a year after its PS5 debut, will leverage DLSS upscaling, Shader Model 6.6, and DirectX 12 Ultimate. Square Enix strongly recommends a graphics card boasting 12-16GB of VRAM for optimal 4K gameplay. This follows the November PS5 Pro patch that enhanced the game's visuals on Sony's upgraded console. Unlike Final Fantasy VII Remake, Rebirth will not receive any post-launch DLC, with Square Enix focusing on Part 3 of the Remake project.
While initial PC specs were revealed at The Game Awards, Square Enix has clarified the graphics card requirements, specifying the 12-16GB VRAM recommendation for 4K resolutions. Other minimum, recommended, and ultra settings are detailed below:
