Farlight 84 Drops New Expansion With Pets Called ‘Hi, Buddy!’

Farlight 84's "Hi, Buddy!" Expansion: Adorable Pets, Map Overhauls, and More!

The highly anticipated "Hi, Buddy!" expansion for Farlight 84 is here, introducing a host of exciting new features. The update's centerpiece is the Buddy System, adding cute, combat-assisting pets to the game.

Meet Your Buddies:

The Buddy System introduces two types of companions: Common and Archon Buddies. Common Buddies, easily acquired, offer helpful abilities. Archon Buddies, rarer and more powerful, boast game-changing skills. To obtain them, you'll need Buddy Orbs, scattered across the revamped map and capable of holding up to six tactical items.

Ten Buddies join the fray: Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy (Common); and Time Dominator and Storm Empress (Archon). The Time Dominator can manipulate the Safe Zone, while the Storm Empress unleashes devastating tornadoes.

The "Hi, Buddy!" update also includes:

• Sunder Realms Map Revamp: Experience redesigned terrain, structures, and landmarks, including ramps, upgraded buildings, and unique additions like giant duck statues and floating boulders.
• Tactical Core System: Earn Trait points to enhance hero skills and unlock new abilities. Trait Activation Cards are needed for maximum ability upgrades.
• New Events: The Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event offer rewards such as skins and loot boxes.
