Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions combat Jas's "Zero" plan, a catastrophic threat to existence. The game's compelling narrative and unique mechanics create an immersive experience.
The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging, extended side quest. Obtaining it is only the first step; its true function unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La and is the final item acquired before the final boss encounter. Progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum, situated in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, confront God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack (90% health drain), so ensure Kina is prepared for extensive healing. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly eases the battle.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves highly effective against summoned enemies. Consider including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict substantial damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Among the scattered debris, locate a chest to the right; it contains the Tachyon Medal.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
Activating the Tachyon Medal requires completing two objectives. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, finish the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These three stars appear in eight locations, with the first two appearing during the main storyline:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat the bosses in the prescribed order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests below the Altar become accessible. One contains the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).
Opening all three chests reveals a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to reverse time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over levels, items, and equipment. While enemy strength increases, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
