On April 27, YouTube user 2Chrispy posted a video titled "I Decoded the Ancient Monkey Scrolls of Donkey Kong Bananza," sharing his journey of cracking the "Ancient Monkey Scrolls." This hidden script appears in the game’s trailers, gameplay clips, and official website.

When players collect a Banandium Chip, a pop-up reads: "Trade these for bananas at any Chip Exchange." By analyzing trailers frame-by-frame, 2Chrispy focused on "Chip Exchange" signage, suspecting it held the key.
He noticed the symbols aligned with the word "exchange," with the repeated letter "e" supporting his hypothesis. Using this method, he cross-referenced symbols from screenshots and trailers, employing a word finder app to complete the puzzle.
