Energy management is crucial in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Every action, from digging to fishing, drains your energy, leaving you unable to progress if you run out. Replenishing your energy is easy with meals, and the Lightning Bolt recipe is one of the best for a significant energy boost.
While the Lightning Bolt isn't the simplest recipe, this guide provides a step-by-step process to acquire all the necessary ingredients.
Lightning Bolt Recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To craft a Lightning Bolt, you'll need:
- One Stygian Mudskipper
- One Lamprey
- Two Lightning Spice
- One Sweet Ingredient
Acquiring the Stygian Mudskipper
The Stygian Mudskipper is found in the Mythopia biome within Storybook Vale. Unlocking Mythopia requires 2,000 Story Magic. Once inside, look for the telltale golden ripples in the water. Remember, it's a rare fish, so be patient!
Acquiring the Lamprey
To catch a Lamprey, head to the Everafter biome. This requires 2,000 Story Magic to unlock via Merida's quest. Look for golden ripples in the water; it's another rare spawn, so be prepared for a bit of fishing.
Acquiring Lightning Spice
Lightning Spice is also located in the Mythopia biome. After catching your Mudskipper, keep an eye out for this ingredient scattered on the ground. Each harvest yields one spice, and you'll need two for the recipe.
Choosing Your Sweet Ingredient
For the final ingredient, select one from the following:
- Agave
- Pink Marshmallows
- Blue Marshmallows
- Vanilla
- Sugarcane
- Cocoa Bean
Once you've gathered all five ingredients, head to a cooking station. Don't forget a piece of coal (easily mined in most biomes) to fuel the cooking process. Combine all ingredients to create your Lightning Bolt!
