Mussels, a type of seafood described as a surprisingly water-filtering mollusk, are a prime example. Unlike some ingredients, Mussels have a somewhat unpredictable spawn rate and location.

Mussels are found on the ground throughout Mythopia, specifically within these areas:

• The Elysian Fields
• The Fiery Plains
• The Statue's Shadow
• Mount Olympus

While some players report easily locating Mussels in these zones, others find them less frequent. Spawn points seem to cluster near Trial areas, such as the one adjacent to the initial Trial in the Elysian Fields (Hades' unlock area).

A notable Mussel cluster is often found concealed behind the secret bush area in the Elysian Fields during Hades' "A Moth to a Flame" quest. Uncovering this area may increase overall Mussel spawns in Mythopia.
