What are Luma Eggs?

Luma Eggs are collectible items scattered throughout Luma Island. Incubating these eggs yields Lumas, adorable creatures that assist with farm chores and adventures. Each egg holds a surprise; the type of Luma hatched is random, adding an element of excitement to the process.

Locating Luma Eggs

Luma Eggs are primarily found in two locations: the island's mysterious Ruins and behind Shrine offering doors. Each Ruin and Shrine within a specific area contains a single Luma Egg.

Ruin eggs are located deep within each Ruin complex, requiring thorough exploration. Shrine eggs are behind doors that unlock with Tepid Offering Crystals, often hidden in challenging-to-reach places.

Hatching Luma Eggs

Once you've collected Mysterious Eggs, you'll need to hatch them. This often triggers a quest, though the timing varies by profession. To hatch the eggs, you must construct a Luma Incubator.

The Luma Incubator blueprint is purchased from Balthazar's shop for 500 coins. Crafting requires:

Combine Luma Life (crafted using various island essences) with a Mysterious Egg in the Luma Incubator to hatch your Luma. Unhatched Lumas appear as "Mysterious Creature" until revealed. After hatching, pet your Luma to strengthen your bond and unlock its helpful abilities.
