Mister Antonio Creator Launches Leaving Home Adventure

Following a series of inventive puzzles built around fundamental concepts like colour, Bart Bonte returns with a new brain-teaser. This solo indie developer's latest offering, however, is not a vibrant logic challenge. It focuses on the everyday ritual of getting ready for work and leaving the house.

It's 7:00 AM

The experience begins at 7:00 AM with the sound of your alarm. As a point-and-click adventure, you interact with your surroundings much like in real life. Where is the light switch? Which drawer holds your clothes? You tap on objects around the bedroom to begin your morning routine.

Before progressing, you must solve a series of simple puzzles, typically involving matching patterns through alignment or rotation. The next area to investigate is the bathroom, where you continue tapping items to complete your tasks.

Leaving Home conveys a somber mood through its minimalist visuals and ambient soundscape. True to Bonte's signature style, the entire environment features an abstract, subtly surreal design.

Leaving Home Is Simple

The game features eight distinct, interconnected rooms to discover. Each space is meticulously crafted, leading you through a strange, continuous environment. You progress by examining details, solving puzzles, and uncovering the peculiar secrets Bonte has hidden within.

You can watch the game in action below.

Bart Bonte has long been renowned for his charming colour-based games and unconventional puzzles. His colour series includes Yellow, Red, Black, Blue, Green, Pink, Purple, and Orange. Other notable titles from his portfolio are Logica Emotica, Words for a Bird, and the recent Mister Antonio.

Leaving Home captures the feeling of those heavy mornings and the quiet, deliberate effort to sort things out. The game is available now as a free download, with an optional in-app purchase to remove advertisements. You can find it on the Google Play Store.
