Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces a unique challenge: choosing to either keep or discard an Oni Mask for bonus XP. Unlike typical challenges, this one offers player agency. This guide explains how to complete this quest.
The second set of weekly quests presents a slight twist. After locating a hidden workshop, visiting Kento, and investigating a portal, players must collect either a Fire Oni Mask or a Void Oni Mask. These masks are readily available throughout matches, making this part relatively easy. The key is what happens after you pick one up.
Upon acquiring a mask, a new quest appears: "Decide to use the Mask or rid yourself of it." This phrasing is intentionally ambiguous. To complete the quest, simply either activate the mask's ability or remove it from your inventory.

While keeping the mask is an option, using it immediately is recommended. Other players are actively hunting masks, increasing the risk of elimination. Using the mask's power promptly ensures you secure the XP without the added danger of another player stealing your progress.
