Cyberpunk 2077 Fortnite Crossover: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly anticipated the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a highly anticipated crossover event. While the collaboration proved popular, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked debate among fans. Speculation ran rampant, with many examining CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The explanation, however, is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's lore lead and the decision-maker, clarified the situation. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. Choosing the female V was a logical choice given Johnny's male character, and also a personal preference of Mills.

The absence of the male V was a matter of practicality, not a deliberate exclusion. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the addition of John Wick.
