In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, food poisoning is a serious threat. Here's how to cure it and prevent it in the future.
Curing Food Poisoning:
The only cure for food poisoning is a digestive potion. You can purchase these from most apothecaries, including those in Troskowitz, Trosky Castle, and the Nomads' Camp. These potions are relatively inexpensive.
Alternatively, learn the recipe and brew your own. This provides a long-term solution, allowing you to create multiple potions for emergencies. The recipe requires two thistles, two nettles, water, and one charcoal. The brewing process involves boiling the thistles in water, adding the ground nettles, then the ground charcoal, before finally pouring the potion. Bozhena's hut is recommended for safe potion brewing.
Preventing Food Poisoning:
The best way to avoid food poisoning is to only consume fresh food. Check the freshness meter on your consumables; red indicates a risk of food poisoning. Only eat food with a white freshness level. Consider utilizing perks that slow food spoilage or preserving food through cooking or drying.
