Hot Toys unveiled an impressive lineup of 1:6 scale figures for Star Wars Day, including a couple of major characters who surprisingly had never received the Hot Toys treatment before. The real standout is undoubtedly the Jar Jar Binks figure. Whether you love him or hate him, there's no denying this rendition looks like it leapt straight off the screen. He even features seamless arm joints and two interchangeable face sculpts to recreate all those quirky expressions.
Hot Toys is also filling a major gap in the Sequel Trilogy collection with the long-awaited Poe Dameron figure. Appropriately, Poe is shown wearing his Resistance X-Wing flight suit. In addition, fans of the Republic Commandos get another favorite with Clone Commando Boss, while the company's new line inspired by Star Wars Rebels introduces a Darth Vader figure to join the previously announced Stormtroopers.

Hasbro introduced several new figures across both the 6-inch Black Series and the 3 3/4-inch Vintage Collection lines. Continuing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith, Hasbro is releasing new Black Series figures in packaging that pays homage to the original RotS toy line. Up next are Aayla Secura and a Magnaguard droid. Black Series collectors can also expand their Imperial forces with a Rogue One-themed 2-pack that includes a Shoretrooper and a Death Trooper.
On the Vintage Collection side, Hasbro is preparing a couple of intriguing multi-pack releases. The "Stormtroopers of the Empire 3-Pack" features a Snowtrooper, Scouttrooper, and Sandtrooper. Meanwhile, the "Cantina Adventure 4-Pack" includes four aliens from the iconic Mos Eisley scene: Hammerhead, Walrus Man, Greedo, and Snaggletooth. This set should pair perfectly with Hasbro's crowdfunded Mos Eisley Cantina playset.
Finally, prop collectors will be excited to learn that a new ForceFX Elite lightsaber, modeled after the weapon used by Ezra Bridger in Rebels, is currently in development.

Not to be outdone, Sideshow Collectibles showcased a broad range of figures, statues, and art prints. The undeniable centerpiece of their Star Wars Day lineup is the Luke Skywalker: Red Five, Standing By Premium Format Figure. This massive 1:4 scale, mixed-media statue depicts Luke in his X-Wing flight suit, climbing the ladder to his trusty ship. What truly makes this piece stand out—and justifies its premium price—is the fact that Sideshow went as far as sculpting a portion of the X-Wing so it appears suspended in mid-air.
Sideshow is also continuing its own line of 1:6 scale figures alongside its distribution of Hot Toys releases. The "Scum and Villainy" series shines a spotlight on aliens and creatures that often go overlooked by Hot Toys. The second wave of this line focuses on characters from Jabba's Palace in Return of the Jedi, such as Bib Fortuna, Klaatu, and Vizam.
Finally, Sideshow previewed the newest 1:10 scale statue from Iron Studios—a scaled-down version of their popular 1:4 scale Darth Vader statue. This Empire Strikes Back-inspired piece remains incredibly striking even in the smaller format.
