Get ready, horror fans! Maid of Sker, the acclaimed survival horror game, is creeping onto Android devices this September. Having already chilled players on PC and consoles, this Welsh folklore-inspired title promises a terrifying experience on your mobile device. Here's a sneak peek:
Set in 1898, you'll find yourself trapped in a secluded hotel with a dark and bloody history. Playing as Thomas Evans, you'll investigate the unsettling events on Sker Island, the very island that inspired the song "Y Ferch O’r Scer" and the novel, The Maid of Sker. But beware, Thomas quickly becomes the target of a murderous cult.
Stealth and cunning are your best weapons. These gruesome enemies hunt by sound; even a misplaced object can attract unwanted attention. However, their acute hearing can be turned against them – use sound strategically to your advantage.
Adding to the atmosphere is a chilling soundtrack that reimagines classic Welsh hymns like "Calon Lân" and "Ar Hyd Y Nos," performed by Tia Kalmaru.
