Niantic has announced that Ralts will be the star of January's Community Day Classic! This guide details the event, including bonuses and in-game purchase options.
Mark your calendars! On January 25th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time), Ralts will be appearing more frequently in the wild, along with its shiny form.
A special research story, available for $2 USD, offers rewards including a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and three Ralts encounters with unique Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds.
Evolving your Ralts into Kirlia during the event (or within five hours afterward) will grant Gardevoir or Gallade the powerful Charged Attack, "Synchronoise" (80 power in Trainer Battles, Gyms, and Raids).
Timed Research will also be available, awarding 4 Sinnoh Stones and a Ralts encounter with a Dual Destiny-themed background. Unlike the main Community Day event, this research will last for a week.

An Ultra Community Day Box, priced at $4.99 USD, containing 10 Ultra Balls, 1 Elite Charged TM, and a Special Research ticket, will be available for purchase in the Pokémon GO Web Store starting January 21st, 2025, at 10:00 AM (local time).

Niantic's monthly Community Day Classic events continue! November 2024 featured Mankey, and December will offer a special two-day event with multiple Pokémon and increased shiny rates. Each month brings increased encounter rates for a featured Pokémon, exclusive moves, and various bonuses.
