Fields of Mistria, like many farming simulators, includes a fishing minigame. The rarest fish are the Legendary Fish, and this guide details how to catch them all.

Legendary Fish Locations

Four Legendary Fish await discovery in Fields of Mistria. Their rarity is offset by an in-game notification at the start of each day alerting you to their presence ("A legendary fish is nearby"). Remember to unlock the Legendary fishing skill (Tier 3, 80 Essences) in the Fishing Skill tree before embarking on your quest. Catching all four in your first year is unlikely, so prioritize this skill before year two.

Spring – Cherry Fish

The Cherry Fish, a small fish, spawns only during Spring on Windy days. The large pond east of the city is a prime location, but the smaller pond near the Mistria Town Manor House offers an alternative. Focus on small shadows in the water.

Summer – Lightning Fish

The medium-sized Lightning Fish appears exclusively in Summer during stormy weather. The Narrows river west of the city, specifically its two stretches, is recommended. Explore other rivers, including those in the city or on your farm, as well.

Fall – Leaf Fish

The small Leaf Fish is a Fall resident, found in rivers (the Eastern Road rivers are suggested) on Windy days. Look for smaller shadows.

Winter – Snow Fish

The medium-sized Snow Fish is a Winter exclusive, appearing on Snowy days at the beach. Explore the shoreline and the small western island for optimal results. Be mindful of other fish to avoid startling them.

Utilizing Legendary Fish

Donate your captured Legendary Fish to the Museum. Collecting all four unlocks a reward: a set of Fish Wings. Museum progress influences additional rewards, potentially including furniture, recipes, and treasure chests.
