Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0: A Global Launch with Clan Warfare and More!
Castle Duels: Tower Defense, following a soft launch in select regions in June 2024, has officially launched globally with its highly anticipated 3.0 update. This update introduces exciting new features, challenges, and adventures for players worldwide.
What's New in Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0?
The most significant addition is the introduction of clans, enabling players to collaborate and strategize. Clan features include unit trading, clan-wide reward distribution, and access to a dedicated clan store. Clan participation unlocks after reaching Arena 2.
For PvP enthusiasts, training battles offer a refined arena to hone skills.
The Clan Tournament pits five-member clans against each other in a quest completion race. The clan finishing daily quests fastest claims victory. Access to the tournament begins at Arena 5.
Unit Overhauls and Name Changes
Several units have undergone significant changes:
- Raphael is now Angel, transitioning from a damage booster to a health restorer.
- Knight of Light is now Risen.
- Forestlord is now Woodbeard.
- Riding Hood now focuses on long-range damage dealing.
- The Golem's ability range has been reduced to better suit its melee role.
- The Fighter now functions as a defensive unit, equipped with a new ability to repel opponents and mitigate their damage.
Visual enhancements have been applied to several units, including Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire, giving them a more distinct appearance at higher merge ranks.
