A newly discovered Warzone glitch allows players to apply Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos to Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, detailed by Twitter user BSPGamin and highlighted by Dexerto, is not officially supported and may be patched.
The glitch requires a second player and involves specific steps within a private Warzone match. Players must equip a BO6 weapon in their first loadout slot, then join a friend's lobby. Switching to a MW3 weapon in the first slot, they repeatedly select the desired camo while their friend toggles the match to private and back. This process, repeated, supposedly applies the MW3 camo to the BO6 weapon.
This exploit addresses a common player frustration: the inability to use MW3 camos earned through significant effort on BO6 weapons, a prevalent issue given the popularity of BO6 weaponry in Warzone's meta. Many players have invested considerable time unlocking mastery camos (gold, diamond, dark matter) in MW3, rendering those achievements less impactful in Warzone after BO6's release.
While this glitch offers a temporary solution, Treyarch Studios and Raven Software are likely to remove it. For those focusing on BO6 camos, Treyarch has confirmed the addition of an in-game challenge tracking system, a feature absent from BO6 but present in MW3, in a future update. This update should improve the camo unlock experience.
