WELCOME TO SEASON 03

New Multiplayer Maps

Firing Range (6v6)

Firing Range returns in a faithful remaster. Watch for crossfire on the center Road as Operators vie for control of vantage points in the Tower, Shoot House, and Garage. Shooting targets move to distract while preparing for the next fight. Avoid the center by branching to the Dirt Road, staying alert for ambushes near the Storage unit.

Barrage (6v6)

Revisit 1968 Vietnam and follow Hudson's clues at the front lines. The landscape has been cleared for an artillery base in active combat. Damage from hits has created new pathways through the Command Center and Barracks.

Nomad (6v6, 2v2)

Fight in the ruins of an Afghan settlement from 1986, where a missile carrier overlooks a valley with a convoy in ruins on the narrow road.

New Multiplayer Modes

Sharpshooter

Test your skills in this classic Black Ops free-for-all mode with changing Loadouts every 45 seconds. Each cycle brings new weapons and equipment. Earn bonuses for eliminations:

• 1st Elimination: Increased movement speed.
• 2nd Elimination: Increased reload speed.
• 3rd Elimination: Increased sprint recovery speed.
• 4th Elimination: Increased ADS speed.
• 5th Elimination: Earn double score for eliminating enemies.

Keep the streak going to unlock double score and aim for the top three.

Demolition

Alternate between attacking and defending two bomb sites. The attacking team must destroy both to win, gaining a time bonus after the first site. All attackers spawn with a bomb, and respawns are active. Defenders must run down the clock and defuse planted bombs immediately.

New Weapons (Multiplayer & Zombies)

Kilo 141 - Assault Rifle (Call of Duty: Warzone Login Reward)

This fully automatic assault rifle with ergonomic design improves handling and maintains a steady fire rate. Its smooth handling and manageable recoil make it a favorite in Verdansk. Unlock it by logging into Call of Duty: Warzone at Season 03 launch.

CR-56 - Assault Rifle (Battle Pass)

A lightweight 7.62 x 39mm full-auto rifle, compact and powerful, ideal for mid-range combat. Its high-damage hits and fast fire rate make it perfect for quick eliminations. Available in the Battle Pass.

HDR - Sniper Rifle (Battle Pass)

An anti-material bolt action sniper rifle with devastating long-range damage. Its distinctive firing sound can send squads running. Add the Reinforced Barrel for extended range and bullet velocity. Available in the Battle Pass.

Kali Sticks - Melee (Event Reward)

These two-hit kill melee weapons have extremely fast attack speed. Use them in Multiplayer with the Close Shave Perk for quick attacks. Earn them as an event reward.

Nail Gun - Special (In-Season)

A full-auto Nail Gun with high close-range damage and fast handling. Its low muzzle velocity makes it challenging against fast-moving targets. Earn it during the Black Ops Tribute Event.

New Attachments

Monolithic Suppressor (Battle Pass)

Provides superior sound suppression and increased range, with a moderate weight increase affecting agility. Available for various weapon classes in the Battle Pass.

SWAT 5.56 Grau Conversion (Battle Pass)

Converts the SWAT 5.56 into a fully automatic weapon with improved accuracy, mobility, and handling. Equips a new default Barrel and Magazine, and unlocks an exclusive 50-round extended Magazine. Available in the Battle Pass.

C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags (In-Season)

A conversion kit for using higher caliber 10mm Auto ammunition, increasing stopping power with slight recoil and fire rate changes. Ideal for larger maps. Available in-season.

New Multiplayer Perks

Close Shave - Enforcer (Event Reward)

Automatically use your Dedicated Melee attack when performing a weapon butt attack. Simply tap the Melee button to attack.

New Scorestreak (Multiplayer & Zombies)

Death Machine (In-Season)

A heavy minigun with a fast fire rate, high penetration, and large ammunition capacity. Score earned while using contributes to your current Scorestreak progress.

New Zombies Map: Shattered Veil

With the Sentinel Artifact, head to the wooded hills above Liberty Falls to meet S.A.M. at a retrofitted mansion. Unlock the artifact's mysteries with S.A.M.'s help and bring back Agent Maxis.

New Zombies Perk-A-Cola

Double Tap

This classic rapid-fire Perk dramatically increases your weapon's fire rate, helping you chew through enemy hordes. Available in Shattered Veil and other maps via the Der Wunderfizz machine.

Double Tap Augments

• Major:
  • Double Jeopardy: Normal zombies at low health have a chance to die immediately when shot.
  • Double Impact: Double hits on the same target in quick succession deal more damage.
  • Double Standard: All non-critical shots do double damage. Only applies to normal bullet weapons.
• Minor:
  • Double Time: Increases fire rate bonus.
  • Double or Nothing: Weapons have a chance to do double damage but also have a chance to do zero damage.
  • Double Play: Killing two enemies in quick succession has a chance to return two rounds to your magazine. Only applies to normal bullet weapons.

New Zombies Wonder Weapons

Ray GunMark II (+ 3 Variants)

Drop multiple zombies with the upgraded Ray Gun Mark II. Recovered from the Dark Aether, it delivers three-round bursts and can be Pack-a-Punched. Experiment with three new variants:

• Ray Gun Mark II-W: Similar bullet patterns to a submachine gun, with a chance to ignite enemies.
• Ray Gun Mark II-P: Shoots ammunition like a shotgun, with a chance to spawn a sigil granting invulnerability.
• Ray Gun Mark II-R: Discharges like a Marksman Rifle, with a chance to spread a plague infection.

Wunderwaffe DG-2

Strikes down hordes with chain-lightning blasts, stunning crowds and eventually causing terminal damage.

New Zombies Enemies

Elder Disciple

Floating apparitions in the gardens and mansion, Elder Disciples empower zombies and summon more undead. Eliminate them quickly to prevent their forces from growing too powerful.

Toxic Zombies

As a yellow fog descends, Toxic Zombies sprint towards players before exploding, leaving a damaging acid pool. Listen for their shriek to get the jump on them.

New GobbleGums

Tactical Diffusion (Rare)

Disables the next Nuke Power-Up explosion and gives everyone 2,000 Essence.

Support Group (Legendary)

Acquire the ARC-XD, Mangler Cannon, Sentry Gun, and Mutant Injection Support items.

Die Pitched (Whimsical)

Zombies have high-pitched voices for three minutes.

New Features

Camo Hub

A new Camo HUB will be added post-launch, providing a wealth of Camo information and assisting players in their quest for Dark Matter and Nebula. Available via the Barracks > Challenges Menu.

R0-Z3 (BlackCell, Crimson One, Launch)

R0-Z3 returns as a top BlackCell operative in Verdansk. No witnesses.

Hudson (Battle Pass, Rogue Black Ops, Launch)

New Events

Black Ops Tribute (In-Season)

A legendary tribute to Black Ops with themed rewards. Earn XP in any mode to progress and unlock exclusive content, including the Nail Gun, C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags, Thermite, Death Machine, Close Shave Perk, an Emote, GobbleGums, and the fan-requested Operator, “John Black Ops”.

GLOBAL

RICOCHET Anti-Cheat

Console Cross-Play Settings

In Season 03, console players get more granular options, separating settings for MP Ranked Play, Call of Duty: Warzone Ranked Play, and Multiplayer Unranked. Each setting includes options for On, On (Consoles Only), and Off, which may affect matchmaking queue times.

UI/UX

Pre-Loading Shaders improvements enhance menu framerate stability and reduce shader compilation time. A new menu widget indicates shader loading progress. The PC Benchmark tool remains useful for optimizing graphics settings.

Challenges

BlackCell owners can complete an additional Daily Challenge in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone for an extra 7,500 XP.

Weapons

Season 3 focuses on enhancing gameplay variety with buffs to nearly all weapon attachments. Semi-auto weapons receive improvements to make them more competitive, with a special focus on the Jackal PDW.

Shotguns

All three shotguns see improvements to Dragon’s Breath and Slug Rounds, aiming to provide unique alternate playstyles.

Burn damage increased from 25 to 30.

Marksman Rifles

Semi-auto Marksman Rifles receive buffs to improve their rate of fire and TTK.

Movement Updates

Increased crouch to stand speeds by 15%, crouch to stand speeds while ADS by 39%, and directional sprint animation blend speeds for improved fluidity.
