Baldur’s Gate 3 Dev Larian Wants Your Help Testing Patch 8

Larian Studios announced a January launch for the Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 stress test, accessible via Steam on PC and consoles (Xbox and PlayStation). Mac and GOG users will not have access. Registration is currently open.

Larian plans extensive testing to identify and address any instability or gameplay issues before the official release. They emphasized the importance of player participation, particularly in testing the new cross-play functionality. The developer acknowledged the complexity of implementing cross-play in a game of Baldur's Gate 3's scale and invited players to register and participate, suggesting using the provided registration link or joining the Larian Studios Discord server to find groups.

While Patch 8 marks the final major update, Larian reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing support, including significant future updates for modders.
