Assassin’s Creed Shadows launch times revealed

Ubisoft has announced the worldwide launch times for Assassin's Creed Shadows.

Departing from series tradition and Ubisoft's usual practice, Assassin's Creed Shadows will launch simultaneously worldwide with a standardized release date. No premium early access options will be available.

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game unlocks at midnight local time on March 20. However, PC players should note different unlock times between Steam and Ubisoft Connect platforms.

Pre-loading is currently active across all platforms including Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Assassin's Creed Shadows faces significant expectations following multiple delays and Ubisoft's recent struggles with underperforming releases like Star Wars Outlaws. The company has endured several high-profile setbacks including canceled projects, studio closures, and workforce reductions leading up to this launch.

IGN's review awarded Assassin's Creed Shadows 8/10, praising it as "one of the most refined versions of Ubisoft's open-world formula perfected over the last decade."
