What Can You Do After You Finish Assassin’s Creed Shadows? Answered

After completing the main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you can continue to enjoy the expansive open world of Feudal Japan. The game doesn’t restrict access to side content post-main quest, allowing you to fully explore and experience everything the world has to offer.

Additionally, new weekly challenges will be introduced through the Animus post-launch, providing fresh content even after achieving 100% completion.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained

Even after the credits roll, the story of Assassin’s Creed Shadows might not be fully concluded. In my playthrough, the credits appeared after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for Yasuke and Naoe. However, I hadn't yet earned the trophy for finishing Act 3 or The Epilogue.

To unlock the epilogue and the true ending, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro. After that, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko. This will unlock the complete ending and the associated achievements.

At the end of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, players can also earn exclusive gear themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke. These armor sets come with unique perks that enhance each protagonist’s playstyle and are designed to appeal to long-time fans of the Assassin’s Creed series.

As for endgame content, players can continue to progress and reach the game’s maximum level cap even after the credits roll.

What’s Next For Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

While the main story of Assassin’s Creed Shadows concludes at launch, there's much more to anticipate. New content will be added through the Animus, and the in-game store will likely see updates with new items. Additionally, a story expansion titled The Claws of Awaji is set to release later in 2025, offering over 10 hours of new content on the Island of Awaji.
