Below is the planned content rollout for ARK: Survival Ascended from 2025 to 2026:
March 2025: ASA Unreal Engine 5.5 upgrade
April 2025: Free Ragnarok Ascended, Free Bison, and a new Fantastic Tame
June 2025: A premium map release
August 2025: Free Valguero Ascended, a community-chosen free creature, and another Fantastic Tame
April 2026: Free Genesis Ascended Part 1 and Bob’s True Tales Part 1
August 2026: Free Genesis Ascended Part 2 and Bob’s True Tales Part 2
December 2026: Free Fjordur Ascended with a community-voted free creature
The standout update is the ASA Unreal Engine 5.5 upgrade. Studio Wildcard is enabling individual DLC pack downloads to reduce install sizes. They’re also working on integrating Nvidia Frame Generation for smoother gameplay.
Alongside new Fantastic Tames and creatures, a premium map will launch in June 2025, requiring a separate purchase. Details about the map are scarce, but Studio Wildcard will share more in the coming months.
In 2026, players can expect Free Genesis Ascended and Bob’s True Tales Parts One and Two. Three Fantastic Tames will roll out during the year, alongside a community-voted free creature. Stay active on the forums to join the voting process.
