Aether Gazer's latest update, "Echoes on the Way Back," introduces significant new content available until January 6th. This update includes Chapter 19 Part II of the main storyline, accompanied by the side story, "The Ibis and the Moon – Moonwatcher," hinting at pivotal plot developments.
The centerpiece of the update is the introduction of Verthandi, a powerful new S-Grade Modifier. This light-attribute melee Modifier boasts three distinct combat styles: a defensive counterattack style, a high-burst damage style, and a sustained DPS style, offering players diverse strategic options. Verthandi's compelling backstory, revealed through hyperspace experiments, adds depth to her character.
The update also enhances combat with new Ultimate Skillchain Mechanics. These include exciting combos like "Light the Path: Phantasmal Dawn" (Hera & Verthandi) and "Thunder in the Hills: Roaring Thunder" (Thor & Shu). A new Sigil, "Cycle of Time," provides significant ATK boosts, Mod Index Multiplier increases, and Crit DMG buffs under specific conditions, synergizing particularly well with the new 5-star Functor, Elf – Geironul, to maximize Verthandi's damage output.
