Rubberhose animation seems to be everywhere these days. From classics like Cuphead to the latest title, Acecraft: Sky Hero! This cartoon-styled bullet-hell shooter puts a fresh spin on the genre. If you're curious about the game, you’ll be pleased to hear that Acecraft is coming to PAX 2025 with a brand-new playable demo.
The influence of Cuphead is clear in Acecraft, thanks to its film-grain effect, vibrant animations, and memorable boss fights. But Acecraft is far from a copycat—it carves its own identity with top-down, Galaga-inspired bullet-hell action instead of 2D platforming.
At PAX 2025, visitors can try Acecraft for themselves. The reward? Your performance in the demo earns tokens, which can be exchanged for exclusive Acecraft merchandise available only at the event. Higher scores mean more tokens and better rewards.
