The official release date for Among Us 3D has been announced, and fans can finally mark their calendars. Developed by Schell Games and published by Innersloth, the game will launch on May 6, 2025. Alongside this announcement came details about a special wishlist campaign offering exclusive in-game rewards.

Official Launch Date Confirmed: May 6, 2025

On April 16, 2025, the official Among Us 3D Twitter (X) account confirmed that the game will officially release on May 6, 2025. Previously known as *Among Us VR*, the title was rebranded to better reflect its expanded gameplay experience featuring cross-play multiplayer capabilities.

As part of the latest updates, players were also introduced to a new in-game currency called Stardust, which doesn’t expire and gives more flexibility when purchasing cosmetics and other items.

*Among Us 3D* introduces several new features such as a permanent Tag Mode with the Infected role, native proximity voice chat, limited-time events, updated mini-games, and a wide variety of new cosmetic options.

It’s important to note that *Among Us 3D* is a separate title from the original *Among Us VR*, which launched in 2022. According to the game’s FAQ on Schell Games’ website, there is no cross-play between the two versions. The development teams explained the reasoning behind this decision:

"Separating the versions during this development allowed/allows us to continue to bring quality updates to our Among Us VR beans while ensuring the highest quality and tailored experience for our new PC players."

Among Us 3D is now available to wishlist on Steam, and with it comes an exciting promotional event: the Powered By Wishlists Challenge. As players add the game to their wishlist, certain milestones unlock exclusive cosmetic rewards. Here's what’s currently confirmed:
