Mattel163 enhances accessibility in its mobile card games with the "Beyond Colors" update. This update introduces colorblind-friendly decks for three popular titles: Phase 10: World Tour, Uno! Mobile, and Skip-Bo Mobile.
The innovative approach replaces traditional colors with easily distinguishable shapes. Squares, triangles, circles, and stars now represent the usual red, blue, green, and yellow card colors, ensuring players with color vision deficiency can readily identify each card.
This inclusive update is a significant step towards making gaming more accessible. Enabling the Beyond Colors deck is simple: access your in-game account settings via your avatar and select the new deck under card theme options.

The development process involved collaboration with colorblind gamers to ensure optimal symbol design and consistency across all three games. Mattel163 aims for 80% of its game portfolio to be colorblind-accessible by 2025.
For those unfamiliar, Uno! Mobile is the classic card-matching game adapted for mobile; Phase 10: World Tour challenges players to complete phases quickly; and Skip-Bo offers a unique solitaire-style experience.
All three games are available on the App Store and Google Play. For more information on Mattel163 and the Beyond Colors update, visit their official website or follow them on Facebook.
