Town of Salem: A Guide to Deception and Deduction
Town of Salem is a social deduction game where murder, accusations, and deception reign supreme. Players are randomly assigned roles—Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, or Neutrals—and must use their wits to survive and achieve their objective.
Gameplay Overview
Games typically involve 7-15 players pitted against each other in a battle of good versus evil. The Town's goal is to identify and eliminate the villains before they eliminate the Town. Evil roles, such as Serial Killers, secretly eliminate Town members under the cover of night, aiming to remain undetected.

With 33 unique roles, each game offers a fresh and unpredictable experience. Before the game begins, the host selects the roles to be included, ensuring varied gameplay dynamics. Game Phases: A Cycle of Suspicion and Action
The game unfolds through distinct phases:
- Night Phase: Most roles utilize their unique abilities during the night. Serial Killers commit murders, Doctors provide protection, and Sheriffs investigate suspicious individuals.
- Day Phase: Town members openly discuss their suspicions, analyzing evidence and testimonies to identify potential villains. A majority vote sends a suspect to trial.
- Defense Phase: The accused presents their case, attempting to convince the Town of their innocence.
- Judgement Phase: The Town votes on the accused's fate (guilty, innocent, or abstain). A guilty verdict results in execution.
