Padova Urbs Picta is the official app showcasing Padua's 14th-century frescoes: travel through time to experience masterpieces by Giotto and other fourteenth-century artists that established the city as an artistic and cultural treasure.
Discover the eight UNESCO World Heritage locations: Giotto's Scrovegni Chapel, the Church of the Eremitani, Palazzo della Ragione, Carraresi Palace Chapel, Cathedral Baptistery, Basilica and Monastery of St. Anthony, and the Oratories of St. George and St. Michael.
Each site features ten engaging entries: descriptive texts paired with reference images. You can choose to read or listen to audio content, including Autoplay mode. Use the glossary for any unfamiliar terms!
Track your activity completion percentage through the Journal and earn cultural points! Collect badges and access the Quiz: complete it to discover your medieval Beast and enjoy a story inspired by Padua's historical events.
Plan your visit effortlessly! The app enables direct contact with museum receptionists and provides links to their web pages. Use the integrated Map with Google Maps geolocation to explore these cultural sites.
