Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has officially announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to roll out on April 23rd. This update marks the culmination of Season 1, promising a thrilling wrap-up to ongoing narratives and the introduction of new content.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update will unravel the long-awaited mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players, or Proxies, will delve deeper into Vivian’s intricate backstory, while the fate of Hugo, who took a dramatic fall into the Hollow, will finally be clarified beyond mere speculation.

The tension between Mockingbird and TOPS escalates following Hugo’s incident, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to handle the situation. Proxies, alongside Vivian, will venture into hostile territories to pursue the Sacrifice Core. Vivian’s journey will intersect with figures from her past, shedding light on the unraveling conspiracy of the Exaltists.

Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, delivering significant Corruption damage, especially when combined with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, wields a suitcase that transforms into a scythe, triggering a Totalize effect that increases damage based on the duration of an enemy's stun.

Joining them is Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, who uses cards with random effects. Additionally, the banners will see the return of Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent.

The update also introduces new events, including 'Say It With Flowers,' where players can manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and create floral arrangements. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
