Microsoft has apologized to Jyamma Games for delays in the Xbox launch of their debut title, Enotria: The Last Song.
Enotria's Xbox Release Remains Uncertain Following Microsoft Apology
Jyamma Games Expresses Gratitude to Phil Spencer and the Community
Following reports of Microsoft neglecting Jyamma Games' submission for over two months, leading to an indefinite postponement of the Xbox release, Microsoft issued an apology. Jyamma Games' CEO, Jacky Greco, initially expressed frustration on Discord, stating, "You can ask Xbox why they haven't answered us for two months... Obviously they don't care about Enotria and they don't care about you... We've Xbox Series X/S version ready, but we can't proceed with submission and release, I spent a lot of money for porting and they decided to ignore us."
However, this situation changed after Microsoft's intervention. On X (formerly Twitter), Jyamma Games thanked Phil Spencer and his team for their swift response and assistance. They also acknowledged the significant support from their community, stating, "Your voice has been heard very loud and clear, and your commitment has been heartwarming."
Jyamma Games confirmed they are now collaborating closely with Microsoft to resolve the issues and aim for an Xbox release as soon as possible.

Greco further detailed the positive exchange on Enotria's Discord server, reporting that Microsoft apologized for the oversight and is working to expedite the process. "They contacted us and said sorry about the situation, we're trying to solve everything as soon as possible," Greco shared.
Jyamma Games isn't alone in facing Xbox release challenges. Funcom recently revealed optimization issues with their Xbox Series S port of Dune: Awakening.
While the PS5 and PC releases of Enotria: The Last Song remain scheduled for September 19th, the Xbox release date remains uncertain. For more information on Enotria: The Last Song, please see our related article [link].
