The Xbox Developer Direct 2025 is poised to offer exciting insights into upcoming titles. Among the confirmed games to be showcased are:
South of Midnight: An action-adventure game from Compulsion Games, known for their work on Contrast and We Happy Few. First announced in June 2023, fans are eagerly awaiting a potential release date announcement during the event.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: A turn-based RPG developed by Sandfall Interactive, set to launch in 2025 and available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. While a specific release date is yet to be confirmed, this game promises to add depth to the RPG genre.
Doom: The Dark Ages: From id Software, this title was initially announced in June 2024 and has already been demoed at QuakeCon 2024. Rumors suggest a mid-2025 release, and the Xbox Developer Direct might shed more light on its progress.
While these three titles have been confirmed, past events suggest that Microsoft may have more surprises in store. The previous two Xbox Developer Directs each lasted over 40 minutes and included multiple game reveals and updates.
