Gacha game enthusiasts are always eager to keep tabs on the financial performance of their favorite titles. The latest numbers for January 2025 have surfaced, offering insight into the genre's current trends.
Last month, miHoYo (HoYoverse) made waves with a significant update for Genshin Impact, featuring the Pyro Archon - the Mawuika banner was particularly noteworthy. According to the data, the company nearly doubled its revenue, reaching $99.4 million, compared to $45.6 million in December 2024.

Coming in second place was Pokémon TCG with $64 million, followed by the popular "female gacha" title Love and Deepspace, which earned $55.2 million.
Honkai Star Rail saw its earnings drop to $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero experienced a sharp decline, with revenues halving from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
The rankings are based solely on mobile platform revenues, as noted by the compilers. Some games, like those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. Additionally, the report clarifies the methodology used for Android revenue estimates in China, stating that they are calculated using a multiplier based on iOS revenue within the country.
