With the constant influx of new cards in *Marvel Snap*, keeping up can be a challenge. Thankfully, The Escapist is here to guide you through the latest additions. Here's a detailed look at the best decks featuring Gorgon, Laufey, and Uncle Ben, helping you maximize their potential in the game.
Gorgon is a 2-cost, 3-power card with an ability that reads: "Ongoing: Your opponent’s cards that didn’t start in their deck cost 1 more. (maximum 6)"
This card serves as a direct counter to Arishem decks, but its impact extends to other strategies like Discard decks that utilize cards such as Swarm, Iron Patriot, and Devil Dinosaur. However, its effectiveness can be neutralized by cards like Mobius M. Mobius or anti-Ongoing cards such as Rogue or Enchantress.
Laufey is a 4-cost, 5-power card with an ability that reads: "On Reveal: Steal 1 Power from each other card here."
This card's effect can be incredibly powerful, especially in locations with multiple cards, potentially turning Laufey into a 13-power card. It's similar to Spider-Woman but enhanced, as Laufey can be discounted by Zabu, making it a great fit for decks featuring cards like Diamondback and Ajax.
Uncle Ben is a 1-cost, 2-power card with an ability that reads: "When this card is destroyed, replace it with Spider-Man."
Spider-Man, a 2-cost, 4-power card, has an ability that reads: "On Reveal: Move to another location and pull an enemy card from here to there."
Uncle Ben synergizes well with Destroy enablers like Carnage, Venom, and Lady Deathstrike, offering a strategic alternative to Bucky Barnes.
While these cards are not necessarily game-changers, Laufey stands out as a valuable addition to affliction-style Ajax decks. Let's explore how to incorporate these cards into your decks:
Gorgon Deck:

This deck includes Series 5 cards like Moonstone and Anti-Venom, which can be substituted with Iron Lad if needed. Gorgon can be a versatile addition, particularly effective against Arishem decks in Conquest mode, and synergizes well with Spectrum and Moonstone to increase the cost of your opponent's generated cards.
Laufey Deck:

This deck is heavy on Series 5 cards, but they are crucial for its success. The strategy revolves around winning one lane with Ajax while dominating another with cards like US Agent and Diamondback. Anti-Venom and Malekith provide additional value, especially in decks with Luke Cage.
Uncle Ben Deck:

This deck includes Series 5 cards like Iron Patriot, Baron Zemo, and Misery. The goal is to disrupt your opponent's strategy while discounting your Death card and leveraging the effects of The Hood and Yondu with Misery. Killmonger and Lady Deathstrike can destroy Uncle Ben, spawning Spider-Man to further disrupt your opponent.
Grinding for these cards in the new Sanctum Showdown mode will cost you 3600 Charms, which is quite substantial. Of the three, Laufey is the most worthwhile if you're interested in affliction decks. However, it might be more beneficial to spend 2250 Charms on unowned Series 4 and 5 cards, depending on your current collection, as this approach could yield more valuable additions to your deck.
And there you have it—the best Gorgon, Laufey, and Uncle Ben decks in Marvel Snap. Whether you're looking to counter specific strategies or enhance your existing decks, these cards offer unique opportunities to shake up your gameplay.
