At Star Wars Celebration, fans were treated to exciting announcements about the future of the Star Wars: Visions series. It was revealed that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will launch on October 29, 2025, exclusively on Disney+. This latest volume will consist of nine captivating short films, each crafted by renowned Japanese anime studios such as Studio Trigger, famous for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, WIT Studio, known for Attack on Titan, as well as David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q.
Adding to the anticipation, it was confirmed that three of these episodes will serve as continuations of beloved stories from previous volumes. These include The Duel by Kamikaze Douga, The Village Bride by Kinema citrus Co., and The Ninth Jedi by Production I.G.
In an exciting development, The Ninth Jedi's writer and director, Kenji Kamiyama, announced at Star Wars Celebration that a new spin-off series is in the works. This series will expand on Kara's journey, which began in Volume 1, and will offer fans longer narratives within the expansive Star Wars: Visions universe. While specific details remain under wraps, it's known that Kara will join forces with Juro in the upcoming episode titled 'Child of Hope' in Volume 3.
