GSC Gameworld, the developers behind S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, have unveiled their latest roadmap, committing to quarterly updates. On April 14, STALKER's official Twitter (X) account shared insights into the game's roadmap for Q2 2025.

The roadmap will be segmented into quarterly updates, with detailed information released every three months. Accompanying these updates will be patch notes to ensure players are informed about which planned features have been implemented in the game.

GSC Gameworld has outlined several key updates, focusing particularly on the Beta Mod SDK Kit and further enhancements to the A-Life system. They plan to conduct a closed beta with mod makers to refine the ModKit before its official release. Additionally, they aim to integrate Mod.io and Steam Workshop to enhance the modding community's experience.

The A-Life System, crucial for the game's NPC AI and simulation, will see continued improvements. Following a substantial 110 GB update for the Christmas patch last year, the developers are set to introduce "persistent A-Life improvements" and enhance human combat with smarter tactics, including better use of cover and flanking, and limited grenade usage.
