In the second update of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, Monster Hunter Now is set to launch an exciting event known as the Spring Hunt 2025. This online paid event will take place from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, and focuses on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.
What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?
The Spring Hunt 2025 is an exclusive event that you can access with an event ticket available in the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks a series of uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions, all centered around Chameleos, eliminating any wait times between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. Additionally, participants can claim special Chameleos-themed layered gear as a bonus.
The event also features the Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be operational during the event, with the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub opening from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During the event period, from May 19th to May 25th, you can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.
Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?
Chameleos is renowned for its stealth abilities and its ability to emit a mysterious fog that impairs visibility. Starting on May 24th, 2025, players can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to confront this vanishing menace.
If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, starting at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. Chameleos is particularly susceptible to Fire, Dragon, and Blast damage, so tailor your strategy and equipment accordingly.
Defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, which includes the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects on you by half and makes it easier to inflict poison on your targets.
The materials from Chameleos can be used to craft a variety of weapons including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. To prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025, download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and get ready for action.
