Sony's Participation in 2024 Tokyo Games Show is Their First Appearance Since 2019

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is set to make a significant appearance at the General Exhibit of Tokyo Game Show 2024, marking their first full participation in four years. The official website has confirmed Sony's inclusion among the 731 exhibitors, showcasing their presence across multiple booths in Halls 1 to 8. While Sony did participate in the 2023 Tokyo Game Show, their involvement was limited to the Demo Play area for indie game releases. This year, they will join major publishers like Capcom and Konami in the main section of the convention.

Although it's unclear what Sony will showcase, their recent State of Play presentation in May announced several 2024 game releases, many of which will be available by the time the Tokyo Game Show occurs. Additionally, Sony's latest financial report indicates no plans for new major existing franchise titles before April 2025.
