Shokz OpenRun Pro: 40% Off, Best for Running

For a limited time of just two days, Best Buy is slashing the price of the Shokz OpenRun Pro Open-Ear Wireless Sport Headphones to an unbeatable $99.99, marking a substantial 40% discount off the regular $160 price tag. This deal has surfaced at Best Buy several times in 2024, yet no other retailer, including Amazon, has managed to offer it at this price point. While the AirPods Pro are a versatile all-around earbud choice, the OpenRun Pro stands out as the top pick for sport headphones, especially in scenarios where maintaining full awareness of your surroundings is crucial.

Shokz OpenRun Pro Open-Ear Wireless Bone Conduction Sport Headphones

Originally priced at $159.99, you can now snag these innovative headphones for just $99.99 at Best Buy, saving you 38%. The SHOKZ OpenRun Pro sports a classic design with earbuds connected by a lightweight titanium band that wraps around the back of your head. This design ensures everything stays securely in place, which is essential as the earbuds require precise positioning. Unlike conventional headphones that send sound vibrations directly to your eardrums, the OpenRun Pro utilizes bone conduction technology. This method transmits vibrations through your cheekbones to your inner ear, allowing the headphones to sit in front of your ears rather than on them. This unique feature enhances your awareness of your surroundings, making them ideal for running on busy streets where you need to stay alert to your environment while enjoying your music.

The OpenRun Pros deliver enhanced bass compared to the standard OpenRuns and are built to withstand sweat, dust, and grime with an IP55 rating. You can enjoy up to ten hours of uninterrupted playback on a single charge. Additionally, these headphones support multipoint Bluetooth pairing, enabling you to connect to two devices at once seamlessly.

As an avid user of AirPods Pro, I find myself consistently switching to the OpenRun Pros during my runs. While the Transparency mode on the AirPods Pro is effective for general use, it doesn't match the level of environmental awareness provided by the OpenRun Pros. These headphones stay securely in place and offer commendable sound quality when compared to other bone conduction options I've tested.
