Get ready, Pokémon TCG Pocket fans! The game is set to dazzle with the introduction of Shiny Pokémon through the exciting Shining Revelry expansion. The Pokémon Company has announced that this sparkly update will bring a whole new level of excitement to the digital card game.
Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, as that's when the Shining Revelry expansion will launch. This update is bringing over 110 new cards, and you'll have the chance to pull Shiny versions of beloved Pokémon like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. The digital format will make these cards shimmer when tilted, adding a new layer of visual appeal. Additionally, starting April 1st, you can snag a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder.
Alongside the Shiny Pokémon, characters and Trainers from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will join the fray. Expect to see cards featuring Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono. From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, giving you the opportunity to earn a deck ticket that can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks. Shiny Pokémon have been a cherished part of the Pokémon TCG for a long time. They first appeared in the Neo Destiny set from the second generation of the games, and the Hidden Fates set later set the standard for modern Shiny cards with its massive Shiny Vault.
Exciting news for competitive players: ranked matches are finally coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket. The first season will kick off on March 28th and run until April 27th, featuring the new Shining Revelry cards. You'll be matched against others with similar skill levels, ensuring a fun and challenging experience.
