LG's Gallery Series OLED TVs are rarely discounted significantly due to their high price point. However, a remarkable deal is currently available on the 83-inch LG Evo G3 Gallery Series 4K OLED Smart TV. For a limited time, Walmart and Amazon offer this exceptional TV for under $2,700 with free delivery. This represents a substantial saving compared to the $5,300 price tag of the newer 83-inch LG G4 model.
The Gallery Series represents LG's top-tier OLED TVs, arguably among the best available. While the G3 is a 2023 model (preceded by the 2024 G4), it surpasses all other LG TVs—OLED or otherwise—in quality, except for its immediate successor. The G-series OLEDs outperform the C-series, boasting an "Evo" panel for enhanced brightness and incorporating MLA (micro lens array) technology for even greater luminance, rivaling or exceeding the image quality of Samsung's quantum dot OLED TVs.
OLED TVs are renowned for superior image quality compared to LED LCD TVs. They deliver deeper blacks, a better contrast ratio, a wider color gamut, and incredibly fast response times, making them ideal for 4K HDR content. LG's OLED TVs benefit from years of refinement and optimization.
The LG G-series is a top choice for gaming, featuring a native 120Hz panel, four HDMI 2.1 ports supporting 4K at 120Hz on PS5 or Xbox Series X, VRR (variable refresh rate), and ALLM (auto low latency mode).
It's important to note that the LG G-series TVs do not include a stand; they are designed for wall mounting (hence the "Gallery" name), and a flush mount wall bracket is provided.
