Samsung's most affordable big-screen OLED TVs are currently on sale, ensuring you can have them delivered in time for Super Bowl Sunday on February 9. You can snag a 2024 65" model for just $998, or go big with a 77" model for only $1,599. These prices are unbeatable for recent model, brand-name OLED TVs. These TVs are perfect for HDR streaming and are also ideal for gaming on the latest consoles like the PS5 or Xbox Series X.
The Samsung S85/S84D series isn't exactly a "budget" option, but it represents Samsung's most cost-effective OLED TV lineup. The S84D is exclusive to Best Buy, yet it's nearly identical to the Samsung S85D. OLED TVs are renowned for their superior picture quality, offering better image quality, deeper blacks, higher contrast ratios, a wider color gamut, and incredibly fast response times compared to traditional LED LCD TVs. Quantum dot technology enhances this further by providing an even wider and brighter range of colors, making QD OLED TVs perfect for enjoying 4K HDR content in all its glory.
The S85/S84D series also boasts features that make it an excellent choice for gamers. It features a native 120Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K at 120Hz on a PS5 or Xbox Series X. Additionally, it supports variable refresh rate and auto low latency mode, enhancing your gaming experience.
